Your day begins with a three-hour tour on a deluxe motorcoach, and finishes with a buffet lunch and two-hour cruise on the Cuyahoga River. Driving one hour east of Cleveland transports you to a different world: bucolic Amish Country, where it’s possible your deluxe motorcoach will share the road with horse-drawn buggies. The slower, simpler life of the Plain People (as they are known) will be on view as we pass farms and businesses that all run without electricity.  Transportation, Guide, multi-course lunch at an Amish restaurant, and a myriad of shopping opportunities are included in the price of this tour.

The micro-brewing and micro-distilling communities are flourishing in northeast Ohio, and this is your chance to taste their libations and view their time-honored production techniques. Begin at the brewery, sampling three different beers to find which one your palate prefers and touring the facility. Then move onto the distillery, to sip two types of bourbon and hear their chronicled history of producing fortified beverages, both legal and not so legal. Transportation, Guide, tours and alcoholic samples are included in the price of this excursion. **Note: Must be 21 years of age or older to participate in this tour.

The Rockefeller Park Greenhouse, built in 1905 and donated to the city by industrialist John D. Rockefeller, and the Cleveland Botanical Garden consist of both indoor and outdoor gardens. After enjoying the display at the Greenhouse, spend a few hours in Little Italy, having lunch and perusing the boutique shops, before you travel to the Botanical Garden. There you can experience the ecosystems of Costa Rica and Madagascar in the Glass House, then wander outside through ten varied gardens. Transportation, Guide, admission, and a multi-course lunch are included in the price of this tour.

Then the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage will educate you, and get you in the mood for lunch at a fabulous Jewish deli. Our day will end at the Polka Hall of Fame, dedicated to the preservation and promotion of polka music, “The Happiest Sound Around.” Transportation, Guide, admissions, and multi-course lunch are included in the price of this tour.
